Our goal is to get you paid as efficiently as possible with little exposure to sector volatility and chargebacks. Cover Badger gets paid at different times throughout the month (depending on the carrier). All commissions that were paid out in full at NB will continue to be paid in full and charged back in full for each endorsement thereafter. We are phasing this out and have targeted September 2026 for an end to this commission structure. All commissions that were paid quarterly at NB will continue to be paid quarterly for all endorsements from these policies/submissions.
Effective Date vs Billing Cycle start date: Effective Date = Date the policy or submission begins (Example: June 15th) Billing Cycle Date= The 1st of the month following the date in which the policy went active (Example July 1st) In this scenario, the policy will go off a billing cycle date of July 1st from a June 15th policy effective date. Commission payment schedule for this example account: Effective Date: 6/15/25 Billing Cycle Date: 7/1/25 Q1 payment: First week in October Q2 payment: First week in January Q3 payment: First week in April Q4 payment: First week July
