Choosing Telemetry Data Sharing Method
To enhance driving safety and affordability, Cover Whale Auto Liability policies mandate telemetry data sharing. We offer two options for flexibility:
Option 1: Electronic Logging Device (ELD) Connection
Fastest and easiest! Policyholder just needs to connect their ELD to Cover Whale within 10 days post-binding. It's so easy:
- Follow the link provided at checkout binding
- Select their ELD vendor from the list
- Connect their device using the provided steps
- If an ELD connection isn't possible, switching to our dashcam option is available.
Option 2: Dual-Facing Dashcam
Cover Whale delivers a dual-facing dashcam to the policyholder, providing all necessary setup tools and information. Dashcams must be installed and active within 10 days of delivery.
