Driver Guidelines:
- Provide an MVR that is less than 30 days old
- Ensure the driver age is between 23 and 70 years old (drivers over 65 need a medical form)
- Keep the right class for the vehicle being used
- Verify driver has 2 years of ongoing commercial experience with a similar CDL and required endorsements
- Limit to 3 minor moving violations in the previous 3 years, including accidents
- Have no more than 1 accident in the past 3 years
- Avoid any major violations in the last 5 years
Ineligible Drivers:
- Drivers without a valid CDL, are needed for vehicles over 26,000 pounds (class 7 and 8 vehicles)
- Drivers with 4 or more violations within the last 3 years
- Drivers with 2 or more accidents within the last 3 years
- Drivers with 4 or more accidents or violations combined within the last 3 years
- Drivers with 1 major violation within the last 5 years
- Drivers under 23 years old
- Drivers over 70 years old
